HIST 240 - Colonial and Revolutionary America Prerequisites: HIST 100 or consent of instructor Fulfills a course requirement in the History Core Concentration The course begins with examining America in the pre-contact period and ends with America declaring independence and becoming a Republic. In between these two points, the course considers the cultural transformation of Europeans by their interaction with the American environment and with each other.
