GSS 100 - Introduction to Gender and Sexuality Studies Prerequisites: None This course fulfills a requirement for the Gender and Sexuality Studies minor Introduction to the social, cultural, and imaginative processes through which people are categorized in terms of sex and gender, and how this categorization shapes individual experiences of the world (including structures of power, privilege, and oppression). Examines theoretical models for analyzing gender, as well as the experiences, historical conditions, and intersections of gender and sexuality with social factors of diversity (race, class, nation, religion).
