Prerequisites:None This course is designed to enable prospective students to become knowledgeable in the K-12 National and Rhode Island Health Education Standards. The Rhode Island Health Frameworks are used as content standards for this course. Topics explored include: health promotion, disease prevention, health-enhancing behaviors, and issues regarding substance abuse and child abuse. This course meets on two Saturdays during each semester.
