Prerequisites:None This course fulfills a requirement for Secondary History and Social Studies Students describe physical and cultural perspectives and the influence of geography on the events of past and present with emphasis on contemporary issues; investigate the processes that shape patterns in the physical environment; analyze how location affects economic systems and activities; how these processes influence the world’s political divisions; compare how culture shapes regional and national characteristics; and how technology and human modifications impact the physical environment.
