EDU 342 - Teaching Inquiry Science In the Elementary School
Prerequisites:EDU 341 This course prepares students to teach inquiry-based science in elementary classrooms. Students will apply their knowledge of science content and inquiry as a pedagogical practice to evaluate elementary science curricula, to plan and deliver in an inquiry science unit, and to assess children’s learning in various guided field experiences. Students will work closely with their internship teachers and reflect on and gain powerful insights into inquiry-based science teaching and learning in the elementary school.
