COMSC 210 - Principles of Computer Organization & Lab
Prerequisites:COMSC 111 or permission of instructor Presents a detailed picture of contemporary computer systems with an emphasis on their hierarchical structure and the interplay between their hardware and software subsystems. Topics include digital logic; the architecture of processor, memory, and I/O subsystems; and the implementation of HLL abstractions. Parallel and RISC architectures may also be examined. Programming is in C/C++ and assembly language.
