CD 552 - Organizational Leadership, Management and Change in Community Based Organizations Prerequisites: CD 521 and CD 522 Community Development, by definition, is a method of improving communities. Community development organizations are the agents of change. This course provides an introduction to the basic principles of organizational management and leadership as applied in community based, nonprofit agencies. Students will have the opportunity to develop a better understanding of their own competencies as leaders and managers and how these can be expanded and developed to be a successful organizational leader.
