Prerequisites:None Examines the role of the law and our legal system in political, social, and economic life and how the law is used to effect social change. Explores the question: Do societal norms and values shape the law, or does the law shape morality? The course will explore contemporary legal issues and examples of how we encounter the law in everyday life.
