Prerequisites:None Fulfills a course requirement in the Language Core Concentration The first course of a two-course sequence intended to provide the fundamentals of Latin with a special emphasis on developing facility in reading the Latin language. Elementary Latin I introduces the student to basic grammatical structures, vocabulary of the Latin language, and major works of Latin literature. No previous knowledge of Latin is required.
