Prerequisites:COMM 100 or COMM 101 This course introduces students to the history of journalism, along with the tools and skills needed to assess that knowledge and use it when engaging ethical and social issues in the discipline. Class discussions and assignments will explore the history of journalism through the lens of how information and communication technologies (ICTs) impact the press and global society.
