GRK 201 - Intermediate Ancient Greek I Prerequisites: Successful completion (C or higher) of Elementary Greek II or equivalent The first course of a two-course sequence intended to provide, through readings in the original language, an introduction to ancient Greek literature from 5th Century Athens, specifically Plato and Thucydides. Careful attention will be paid to grammar, style and the scholarly tradition surrounding Classical Studies.
