The Master of Science in Real Estate at Roger Williams University offers learning opportunities in the field of real estate that prioritize the development of just, sustainable, and resilient communities with good homes, healthy environments, and vibrant economies. The program is designed for graduate students and practicing professionals, in full-time or part-time studies, working with today’s financial, environmental, equity, and regulatory issues. The program offers project-based learning experiences alongside instructors and practicing professionals in the Northeast region and beyond to understand real estate’s far-reaching effects on the natural, social, and built environments.

The real estate industry requires professionals with a holistic view of real estate that combines theory and practice in a variety of disciplinary domains. Students who complete the masters will understand the multiple aspects of the real estate profession including finance, law, management, construction, design, regulatory affairs, environmental conditions, and public policy. A variety of course offerings in these fields allow students to focus on certain topical areas of interest. Areas of employment in which a student could use the skills gained through this degree program include real estate development, finance, investment and management, architecture, construction, law, planning, and preservation.

Admission: Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in order to be eligible for master’s program admission. Other admission requirements for external applicants are:

  2. Official Transcripts for all previous undergraduate and graduate work
  3. All University required fees
