EDU 374: Secondary Education Pre-Practicum (repeatable)
This course is a Pre-Practicum Residency requirement for all Secondary Education majors that will be repeated during sophomore and junior years. All Secondary Education students will be placed in a middle/high school for field experiences and will register for this course to demonstrate their field participation, during: (1) sophomore fall semester, (2) sophomore spring semester, (2) junior fall semester, and (3) junior spring semester. Students must register for three one-hour sections of this course during those semesters and complete a minimum 30-hour residency over the course of each semester. Juniors abroad are excused from this requirement for the abroad semester.

Note:
All students are required to have field experiences in a variety of settings, including experiences in urban schools. |
