Return to: School of Engineering, Computing and Construction Management
The Engineering Biomechanics minor develops students' expertise in mechanics and demonstrates how engineering principles can be applied to explain the structure and function of biological systems. It is particularly appropriate for science and pre-med students who wish to understand how animals move, how tissues and organs support applied loads, and how prosthetic devices can restore and even augment natural capabilities.
The minor consists of six courses and is for non-engineering majors only.
