Music Minor: Applied Music

The Applied Music Minor provides students with a rounded education in music, including basic coursework in music theory, composition, history, technology, and integrated experiential learning through applied instruction in voice, composition, or an instrument of choice as well as options to perform in one of our ensembles such as chorus or instrumental ensemble.

Electives (3 credits):


  • Choose any three (3) credit course in MUSIC at the 200 level or higher.

Note:


*MUSIC 170  has a prerequisite of MUSIC 110 . Through the program’s placement examination, students may test out of MUSIC 110 .
