SEC 505 - Firewalls & Defense in Depth

This course is hands-on in the laboratory and focuses on the development of successful firewall and Defensive strategies for both border and internal usage. The course uses Palo Alto, Cisco IOS, Linux Based IP Tables as platforms for developing firewall rule sets. The course may include other defensive tools to understand the security posture of the enterprise network.
Students are required to submit a project or seminar.
