MGMT 370 - Sports Management Principles

Prerequisites: MGMT.200
Requirement Fulfillment: Major, Minor
This course provides an overview of the general principles of management as applied to the sports industry and sports organizations in general. The course includes topics related to managing such organizational business structures, with an eye towards recent trends and observations. Students will also consider the ethical and moral dilemmas facing sports managers as well as the role of sports in society, and explore career opportunities.
