In most weeks, a pair of students will present and lead discussion on a primary research paper from the current literature. In the lab component, on one day per week, students will learn and implement tools of molecular biology, ecology, and natural products chemistry to investigate the presence of bioactive compounds in marine organisms and explore how those compounds influence organismal behavior and interactions.
