EDU 610 - Introduction to Literacy Research Prerequisites: None This is the first course offered in the Master of Arts Literacy Program and must be taken before any other courses. Students learn how to read, interpret, and analyze qualitative and quantitative research while surveying the historical and current perspectives of literacy research and practice. This course takes a scholarly look at the field of literacy through the lenses of the fields of language, literacy, cognitive psychology, and cultural anthropology.
