MUSIC 220 - Introduction to Electronic, Digital, and Computer Music Prerequisites: None Requirement Fulfillment: Fulfills a requirement for Track 2 of the Music Major An introductory course on using computers and electronic tools for music making. The course covers fundamental electronic and computer music concepts including analog and digital sound synthesis techniques, signal processing, MIDI and computer music programming, the properties of sound, and an overview of acoustics and psycho-acoustics. An emphasis is placed on creative hands-on experience explored through exercises and projects.
