PSYCH 540 - Advanced Personality Psychology Prerequisites: Consent of the instructor This course is designed to provide advanced study in the field of personality psychology with a specific focus on seminal works in personality theory. Students will investigate the original works of Freud, Jung, Horney, Michel, Bandura, Kelly, Cattell, and Allport in addition to other important personologists. Students will critique a number of the theories in terms of their utility in modern psychology and their historic importance in the development of modern theory in personality psychology.
