CORE 445 - Creating the American Image: 1919-1941 Prerequisites: CORE 101 , CORE 102 CORE 103 , CORE 104 , and CORE 105 The image of America today traces its roots to the period between the two world wars, 1919-1941. The arts, advances in technology and science, and the social and political climate of the time all combined to shape the developing contemporary image of America. By combining information from sources across multiple disciplines, students will find common threads that connect this pivotal period with our own. (3 credits)
