ANSOC 345 - Globalization and Identity Prerequisites: ANSOC 105 Requirement Fulfillment: Fulfills a course requirement in the Anthropology + Sociology Core Concentration This course examines the consuming trend of globalization from a sociological point of view. Explores relationships between individuals, groups, and institutions in an age of globalization, with emphasis on national identity and global identity. Special attention will be given to sociological commentary on the political, economic, and cultural benefits and limitations to globalization worldwide, Students will explore the competing stories about globalization as it continues to unfold.
