The Modeling and Simulation minor is an interdisciplinary program that combines mathematical and computational skills with a discipline in which those skills can be applied to address real-word problems. Modeling and simulationis widely used in many fields including the sciences, social sciences and engineering.
The minor focuses on the mathematical and modeling skills and leaves the discipline up to the students major field of study. This allows the students in any discipline to combine modeling and simulation tools with their expanded knowlege of the problems in their field to which the tools can be applied.
