Civic Media and Community Engagement Minor

The Civic Media and Community Engagement minor prepares students to communicate complex ideas in accessible and engaging ways. Students learn oral, written and media production skills through hands-on experiential learning collaboration with local communities and organizations. Coursework applies a multidisciplinary approach to the research, analysis and communication of civic, social and environmental justice issues. The minor is relevant to students from across all disciplines who seek to inform and educate professional audiences and the public.
