SEC 101 - Introduction to Computer Software Prerequisites: None This course covers installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of software/operating system components. The material is presented to prepare the student for the A Technologies examination. SEC 101 is the second of two courses designed to prepare students to embark upon a career in IT helpdesk, desktop support, or systems implementation. Emphasis in this second course is placed on the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of software/operating systems. In addition to these topics, emphasis is also placed on using knowledge of PCs, hardware, and the Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012 Operating Systems to support and troubleshoot technical issues of networked computers.
