IB 250 - International Business: European Union Prerequisites: Permission of instructor This course involves lectures throughout the semester and a designated trip during Spring Break. The lectures concentrate on the European Union (EU) integration, its history, membership, goals and objectives, political, economic, technological, and socio-cultural environments. In addition, the course highlights problems and issues, opportunities and the future challenges of the EU. The study-abroad component of this course takes students to France and other countries of the EU. Activities during the trip include additional lectures on the EU and visits to companies, and cultural and historical places.
