HIST 316 - Studies in African National History Prerequisites: HIST 100 or consent of instructor Requirement Fulfillment: Fulfills a course requirement in the History Core Concentration This course examines the historical development of one specific country or sub-region of Africa. The course will focus on both larger political, economic, an social transformations as well as changes in the daily lives of people. Countries or regions to be studied could include: South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia and The Congo.
