ENGR 420 - Transportation Engineering Prerequisites: ENGR 300 This course provides students with an introduction to the principles of transportation engineering with a focus on highway engineering and traffic analysis. Areas covered include: vertical and horizontal alignment, curve fundamentals and design, principles and design of flexible and rigid pavement, binder grading systems, traffic flow theory, queuing theory, and simulation for traffic modeling.
