CORE 463 - Innovation and Invention Prerequisites: Core seminar, required for graduation CORE 101 through CORE 105 and at least sixth semester standing This course explores the patterns and processes of innovation that humans have developed to transform existing ideas into new ones. Over the course of the semester, students will investigate theories, techniques, and stories of innovation from across the disciplines; consider ethical questions surrounding innovation; and learn how to employ strategies of invention to develop new ideas, create new things, and respond in new ways to complex contemporary problems.
