PA 553 - Economics of Health and Medical Care

Prerequisites: PA 505  & PA 551  or consent of instructor
This course analyzes health care problems from an economic perspective. Effective management of limited resources, including financial issues involving differing managed care structures (HMOs, PPOs, and IPAs) are examined.
