HCA 350 - Financial Management of a Long Term Care Facility
Prerequisites:SHS 310 or consent of instructor This course is required for the Certificate in Nursing Home Administration This course is a study of the techniques and strategies for gathering and using financial information to make decisions in the long-term care facility environment. It includes a survey of accounting principles, financial statements, the budgeting process, and inventory control. Topics include the special accounting requirements of Medicare, Medicaid, and other third-party payment systems.
