Welcome to AQS 204: Aquatic Life Support Systems - This course describes how to maintain the optimum water chemistry and quality for the fish you are keeping. It will examine the various types of filtration and treatment options available that form the foundation for maintaining excellent water quality. Biofiltration, ozone and ultra-violet use are discussed, as well as practical hydrology - pump selection, and the design of water circulation parameters to ensure the maintenance of a good growth environment.
