Original independent research in cultural anthropology or sociology. Project chosen in consultation with a research advisor. May be repeated for credit.
How do sociologists and cultural anthropologists examine the social world? Students will have the opportunity to work alongside faculty assisting faculty with their research or joining a student project that faculty have developed for students. Alternatively, a student could develop their own individual research project under the supervision and guidance of a faculty member. Students would need to request the class and faculty would have to accept the student to participate.
