DATA 455 - Data Science Senior Capstone
Prerequisites: Students taking this course are expected to complete all the other requirements of BA and BS in Data Science majors.
Requirement Fulfillment: Senior capstone requirements for BS/BA in Data Science.
Delivery: Lec/Lab
This course is open to seniors majoring in data science. The course provides students senior project experience where they will integrate mathematical, computing, and data science principles into a comprehensive data science research project or client-based design project. Open-ended problems will emphasize a multidisciplinary approach. Students are expected to present their project outcomes in scientific or professional community such as university showcases, national or international conferences.
