CHEM 185 - College Chemistry II
Prerequisites: Successful completion (C- or better) of CHEM 184, Concurrent enrollment in, or completion of, MATH 136 or higher or departmental approval
Corequisite: Concurrent enrollment in, or completion of, MATH 136 or higher or departmental approval Concurrent enrollment in CHEM 185L, must be taken at the same time as CHEM 185
Requirement Fulfillment: Fulfills a course requirement in the Chemistry Core Concentration
Delivery: Lec/Lab
Continuation of CHEM 184. Examines the fundamental principles of chemistry including the quantum mechanical model of the atom, periodic properties, bonding, liquids, solids, solutions and intermolecular forces. Laboratory is an integral part of the course.
