Delivery: Lecture This course introduces the biological systems forming the basis for human wellness and disease, and the ways in which environmental and social conditions influence health at the cellular level. What really happens when the body is exposed to air pollution, viruses, unrelenting stress, or unhealthy food, and what are the secrets to maximizing health and human performance? Students apply this knowledge to their own health, and to the health of communities and ecosystems locally and across the globe.
