ENGR 318 - Sustainable Engineering Prerequisites: MATH 214 and CHEM 191 Delivery: Lecture In this course, engineering students will learn about engineering design decisions and their impacts on the environmental, economic, and social sustainability of the planet. This course is an introduction to sustainability concepts important in engineering design and practice and covers topics including life cycle assessments, pollution, climate change, public health, and environmental justice. Knowledge of the principles of sustainability in engineering design will prepare the engineering graduate to carry these principles into the engineering profession.
