ENG 320 - Studies in Global Literatures Prerequisites: WTNG 102 or permission of instructor. Requirement Fulfillment: Major, Minor, Core Concentration Delivery: Lecture This course introduces students to literary traditions outside of Great Britain and the United States, via texts in translation or from Anglophone writers. Possible topics may include literatures of Africa, Asia, South Pacific, the Caribbean, Eastern and Western Europe, Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, and/or Canada, with more directed topics within one or more national literatures. The course is designed to develop a broader awareness of world literatures, as well as foster appreciation for how texts can both reflect and project diverse cultures and identities. This is a variable topics course; the course, but not the topic, may be repeated for credit. The course, but not the topic, may be repeated for credit.
