Prerequisites:ENGR 240 or COMSC 210 Mechatronics is the synergistic combination of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and software engineering. Course topics include mechanics, electronic sensing and actuation, and software design for real-time control. Students will program small electromechanical robots to perform a specified task autonomously. “Mechatronics” is a portmanteau of “mechanics” and “electronics.”
