SEC 429 - Cybersecurity Tools and Applications Cross-Listed with: SEC.529 Prerequisites: SEC 201 and SEC 203 and SEC 207 or Instructor Approval This course will introduce students to numerous cybersecurity tools that are used for cybersecurity management, troubleshooting, and offensive security. It will introduce students to Kali Linux, which provides over 600 tools for penetration testing and security auditing. Sample tools include Fluxion, John the Ripper, Layers, Metasploit Framework, Nikto, Nmap, Skipfish, and Social Engineering Toolkit.
