POLSC 402 - Washington Experiential Learning Seminar
Prerequisites: POLSC 100 ; Junior or senior standing; and approval by the RWU Spiegel Center/Study Away Office
Delivery: Lecture
The seminar, taught by a WII faculty member, meets weekly and provides an academic context in which students discuss, reflect upon and analyze their internship experiences. Through small group interaction, reflection, and peer critique, students will work on honing personal and professional skills, and in particular writing skills; engaging in practical skill-building in public speaking; understanding office politics and protocol; and developing career planning and business writing techniques.
