POLSC 400 - Washington Internship
Prerequisites: POLSC 100 ; Junior or senior standing; and approval by the RWU Spiegel Center/Study Away Office
Delivery: Practicum
Participants in the Roger Williams University Semester in Washington, D.C. program work four days a week for the entire semester as interns at placements arranged, after extensive consultations with students, by the Washington Internship Institute (WII) in Washington, D.C. Interns perform such work as research, attending meetings, writing reports, and preparing briefings. Students are evaluated by their site supervisor and their WII faculty sponsor. Evaluations are reviewed and grades assigned by an RWU faculty member.
