Prerequisites:HIST 100 or consent of instructor Requirement Fulfillment:Fulfills a General Education course requirement: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion domain and Global Perspectives Domain. This course presents a synthesis of the historical development of Latin America from the Pre-Columbian era to the present. The course is organized in chronological fashion and examines topics such as Pre-Columbian states, the colonial period, the movement for independence, and neocolonialism.
