ARCH 100 - Exploring Architecture Prerequisites: None Note: Enrollment limited to high school students who have completed their junior year and high school students who have completed their sophomore year with permission at the time of application A four week introduction to architectural issues, concepts, and basic design methodology for high school students interested in understanding architecture as a possible area of college study and career. Course instruction is via workshops and individualized studio critique emphasizing freehand drawing, design exercises, field trips, lectures and portfolios. The grade is based on overall performance with special emphasis on the quality of a major project.
