SOC 260 - The Sociological Imagination Prerequisites: SOC 100 Fulfills a course requirement in the Anthropology + Sociology Core Concentration The sociological imagination was first coined by sociologist C. Wright Mills to explain how one moves from casual observation to scientific sociological observation. Examines usefulness of analyzing sociological patterns. The course will illustrate the many uses and contexts of the lens of the sociologist. Content will alternate based on instructor.
