EDU 670 - General Education Knowledge for Special Educators

Requirement Fulfillment: Major
This course will prepare special education graduate candidates who have not previously had experience in the education field to construct meaning and develop knowledge on many of the most important and pressing general education topics as they learn strategies to support students in each content area (English, Math, Science, and Social Studies). These topics include standards-based learning, how to create lesson plans, understanding by design, inclusive education, social emotional learning, data-based decision making, and classroom management.
